If You See an Empty Timeline When SimplyTweet Starts Up and No Error Message pops up, I Need your Help

Have you been noticing that SimplyTweet starts up with an empty timeline and you get no error popup? And right after this, if you press the refresh button, it loads the timeline correctly?

This is possibly a Twitter bug and there isn't anything I can do directly to fix it. I would like to collect some IP address where this is happening consistently and report this to Twitter.

If you see this problem consistently and are willing to help, please visit http://whatismyip.com/ on your iPhone/iPod touch with the connection that you normally use, be it wi-fi or 3G/GPRS/Edge, and let me know what is the IP address shown. It will say something like "Your IP Address Is: 200.211.222.12" at the top. Email me at hboon@motionobj.com your IP address as shown in that page.

Note: I have emailed Twitter. Thanks for the help, everyone! We'll have to wait for them to fix this.

  1. hi. it happens some times. but, the timeline is not loaded correctly even i press the refresh button. it loads only a dozen of them.(about 15 tweets i guess). that's why i press the home button to reactivate the app. then it loads a hundreds of them. i'll try to report IP Address for you next time.

  2. It's been happening on and off since 8/25. Hitting the refresh button, usually twice, gets them to load. My IP is . Thanks for checking into this!
