This is the 12th major update to SimplyTweet and here's a more detailed list of changes including bug fixes which are not listed on the iTunes page.
- Allow forced refresh in contact pickers
- When displaying photos from the result of photo search, the original tweet can now be displayed
- Add more user-friendly error message when opening a tweet from a protected account, which you are not following, from a twitter.com URL
- Add button to toggle scope search bar
- Change syntax of links appended from " - http://somethingsomething" to " http://somethingsomething", saving 2 characters
- Increase timeout (waiting time) for Twitter. So when Twitter is acting up and doesn't respond quickly, the request stops and shows an error rather than waiting for too long.
- Notes follow twilight theme
- Notes can now be used as a general Notes facility, as well as drafts for tweets and DMs (accessible in the Notes tab)
- Added workaround so that the search scope bar color is not so blatantly out of place (I know it's not perfect, but we still need to wait for Apple to fix the color bug)
- Change nearby search bar to be hidden by default
- Change error message when sending long tweets with media and Posterous isn't the image/video service
- Add support for configuring buttons on swipe menu (including favoriting/unfavoriting)
- Add timestamp format d.M
- Add option to disable landscape mode
- When choosing to block/unblock account, there is now an additional option to block and report the account as a spammer
Add retweet as option for swipe menu
Bug fix: certain links opening in builtin web browser loads an error page after a while. (fixing this requires removing the magic that tries to open popups in the builtin browser)
- Bug fix: post.ly links that have no pictures and videos, but has other media sometimes open inline (which it shouldn't)
- Bug fix: some post.ly links with photos which should open in the picture viewer aren't
- Bug fix: swipe menu shows 3 reply buttons (duplicates) if app launched without visiting Settings app first
- Bug fix: Conversation between us should not have a nearby button
- Bug fix: timestamp format is wrong for certain locales (Japanese and maybe locales that have AM/PM as non-english alphabets) when 24 hours format is selected in the system settings. As a workaround, add a setting that force timestamps to be 24 hours
- Bug fix: default settings for fresh installs of SimplyTweet don't work properly
- Bug fix: pressing more when browsing followers/friends sometimes don't load any accounts after the progress indicator runs
- Bug fix: in Go to user, entering more than 1 word and searching will cause the progress dialog to spin forever
- Bug fix: opening account view from Sent DM timeline and viewing friends/followers always showed the logged in user's friends/followers instead of that DM's recepient's
- Bug fix: If refresh after post setting is ON, the autorefresh after posting scrolls to the top
