• Split a transcript turn at the insertion point or selection, then assign the new untimed turn to the right speaker or Person. MinuteFile carries the existing speaker forward, supports undo, and does not guess a timestamp or speaker change from the audio.
• Edit meeting-only speaker labels separately from reusable People, and use the same Person assignment tools for individual speakers and selected transcript blocks.
• Keep speaker and Person identity consistent when renaming, reassigning, merging, splitting, undoing, saving, reopening, searching, and exporting transcripts.
• Use a refreshed full-bleed app icon without the gray compatibility border on current macOS versions.
